Week Two – Weigh-in Results

How did everyone do this week? Email your results and I’ll post them here. I didn’t exactly have a huge loss…in fact, the wii fit scale is saying I’m up .7 from last week (booooo hissss). I don’t care. I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing and increase my water and work harder this week. Easter vacation definitely put a little dent in the loss department, but no matter…onward!!

Carole — up .7 lbs but pants are looser!
Rebecca — Good news! Definitely more energy. And even better, definitely more self-esteem!
Julia — 30 minutes on the eliptical didn’t kill her (to quote her)
SueAnn — waiting a couple of days to weigh-in — Easter vacation bloat!
Casey — waiting a couple of days to weigh-in — Easter vacation bloat also!
Cindy — up 2.0 lbs but workouts=awesome & my cloths are very lose!
Lori — Down 4 lbs in the last two weeks!! Woot!!
Angela — Down 4 lbs this week! (Angie, how’d u do that??!!)
Luzanne — No official WI BUT my tight jeans are now looser and I didn’t gain any weight over easter!
Sheri — too stressed from tax season to go to WW mtg to weigh in yet this week

Ha!  I eat Monday’s for breakfast.

Today was an awesome day!  My zappos delivery arrived (the cutest workout top ever), I went to a Dayton TweetUp and Met Rebecca from our group, ran/walked 3 miles and went to bootcamp class.  Click here to view my video from the Zappos delivery and vote for me!

In the next couple of weeks I’ll put together a list of all our twitter names, pull together our goals and all that fun stuff.  By April 1st we’re all going to be ready to hit the ground running.  Personally, I’m not waiting until that date.  I’m working out like a fool cuz I want you guys to be proud of me.  Soon you ain’t gonna see no muffin top on me!!

Yes, I still exist

hi there.  Yes, I still exist.  It would be really lame to sign on and blog about how I’ve been working 6-day work weeks and how when I get home I am faced with mountains of laundry, dog hair, housecleaning…I’m sure you are bored already.

I haven’t weighed myself in weeks.  I have no idea what I weigh.  I don’t care.  I broke down and bought a size 12 pair of Lucky Jeans.  They were 20% marked down.  Hoo-raw.  They fit beautifully even though I’m not a size 6.  I don’t care.  I just don’t care.

Spring is here…or so mother nature is fooling us into thinking so.  Every March we get sucked into thinking THIS IS IT, but then it will snow again.  So I’m on my guard about not being too excited.  

I did go for a 3-mile walk the other day w/my neighbor in 50 mile an hour winds.  

I feel menopausal, bitchy, sad, irritable and think I need to get my rear end to the health food store and buy some Fish Oil tabs…maybe some calcium.  Dunno.  All I know is I have to take care of myself because no one else is.

Thank you for letting me vent.  

P.S. My new jeans are total awesomeness.  They fit and I’m very happy about that.

Starting over — again — tomorrow

I’m off-track, big time.  I’m starting over tomorrow.  I’ve learned I MUST write down my points or I end up eating so many extra points it is not even funny.  If I can just make it to the gym tomorrow, I will be so pleased.  There’s a spinning class I know would be hard, but I have to start somewhere.  I have no choice but to pick myself up and start over.

Saturday – Say What?

Would you believe I didn’t go to weigh-in today and I didn’t exercise today…unless picking up dry cleaning, shopping for last minute outfit for fancy event tonight, getting pedi and mani while sitting in a vibrating chair, finding matching boots, jewelry, lipstick AND running by hair dresser to get roots touched up…all counts as exercise?

Seriously, I don’t even know how much I weigh today and I’ve not been to a zumba or bootcamp class this entire week.  I am so disappointed in myself.  This time of year in Ohio, the grey skies, the constant rain/snow/ice/sleet…really depresses me.  I’m just telling you the truth, keepin it real.

On a positive note, I am READY for the big fancy event tonight and I have gorgeous new boots, and a new outfit.  I am not a perfect size 6 or even an 8 but I am ready!
